Levi Powell
Research Manager | ljpowell@iastate.edu
Since joining the Digital Ag team in 2013, Levi has worked on a variety of planter technology and combine harvester automation technology development projects for our industry partners. He also creates content throughout the year for ISU Extension, focusing on helping producers better utilize their equipment. It’s this farmer-first approach that Levi says is really important in his work.
“We strive to build automation technologies that work seamlessly with the operator,” Levi said. “Getting the opportunity to meet and talk with growers and find out what things matter to them and how we can help solve issues on their farm is a rewarding part of my job.”
